The Airbnb owner login process is as easy as it gets. But before you can get there, you’ll need to create an account.

How to create an Airbnb account?

Step 1: Go to airbnb.com.

Step 2: Click on the grey and white icon on the top right-hand corner of the page.

Step 3: Select “Sign up” from the drop-down.

Step 4: Click on “Continue with email”

Step 5: Type in your email address and click on the “Continue” button.

Step 6: Fill in your first name, last name, birthdate, and then choose a password.

Note that your name must match the name on your government ID.
Password must be at least 8 characters long, can’t contain your name or email address, and must contain a number or symbol.

Step 7: Read the Terms of Service, Payments Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Nondiscrimination Policy if you want to.

You can check the box at the bottom if you don’t want to receive any promotional email from Airbnb.
And then click on “Agree and continue”.

Step 8: A pop-up window about the Airbnb Community Commitment will appear, click on “Agree and continue” again to say you agree to these terms.

Step 9: Now set up your profile.

Setting up your Airbnb profile:

Step 1: Basic details

Select your country/region.
Type in your contact number (Or if you’d rather not, select “I’ll do this later”)
Click continue

Step 2: Upload a photo

Add your profile photo.
You can opt to “Upload a photo” or “Use Facebook photo” (Or if you’d rather not select “I’ll do this later”)
Click continue

Step 3: Confirm your contact details

To confirm your email address, go to your email inbox
You will find an email from Airbnb (automated@airbnb.com)
Open it and click the “Confirm Email” button

And that’s it! Now you are all set to start using Airbnb!

We can’t stress enough how user-friendly the Airbnb website is. The Airbnb owner login process is just as easy as accessing anything else on the site. It is important to know how to access your account in order to make money out of Airbnb

Step 1: Go to the Airbnb login page

Step 2: Log in to your Airbnb account through one of the options listed below:

Your phone number
Your Facebook account
Your Google account
Your Apple account
Your Email address

Step 3: if you are using your own personal machine click the “Remember me” box so you won't have to go about the process of logging in every time you want to access your profile

What to do if you forgot your Airbnb Account password.

Hosting on Airbnb is not an easy task and if in the course of everything else involved in hosting you forgot your account password follow the steps below to reset your password.

Step 1: Click on the “Forgot password?” link located under the password field.

You will be redirected to the “Reset password” page.

Step 2: Enter the email address associated with your account so that Airbnb can send you the reset link.

Step 3: Click on the “Send reset link” button

Step 4: Open your email inbox. You should have received an email from automated@airbnb.com, open it.

Step 5: Click on the “Reset your password” button. It will take you to the “Update Password” page.

Step 6: Enter your new password in the first field and re-enter it in the second field.

Note: Password must include at least one symbol or a number and have at least 8 characters.

Step 7: Click on the “Update” button.

Things to remember about the reset link email:

Airbnb’s reset links have a time limit and can only be used once.
If you clicked the “Send reset link” several times, you’ll only be able to use the most recent email.
If the link is always expired before you open it, try disabling your email service’s link preview or mail scanner feature and it should work just fine.

Even though the Airbnb login process is quite simple it is not uncommon for users to run into difficulties every now and then. Here are some tips to overcome some common problems and prevent them from happening where possible.

When filling out personal details in your profile, use the same email account that you will be using when logging in.
Make a note of your Airbnb login details elsewhere such as in your journal or elsewhere in your device in case you forget them.
Don’t open a different account to list your home in case you forgot the login details for the first one. It can confuse the Airbnb system when they send out details to the hosts.
If you still have issues with your Airbnb login, remember that the site can always send you instructions to assist you.

As a rule, never give your login details to other people. This could not only give them access to confidential details about your property and guests. They could also change your login details thereby denying you access to your profile and putting your property rental business at risk
Use a different password than the one you use for your social media platforms or email accounts. Generate new and distinct login information for this site. This way if your Facebook login data becomes compromised, your Airbnb account will still be protected.

Refrain from using easy passwords.

Always follow good security procedures and use a difficult password so that it can’t be copied. You don’t want the data you are providing to Airbnb to be accessed by anyone else.
As a rule, Airbnb does not allow you to use parts of your name or email address in your password so generate a distinct password for your account.
Your password should be a minimum of 8 characters and have a mix of numbers, letters, and special characters.
Do not use common and obvious words or phrases as a part of your password.
Use a password manager to store your passwords. This helps you create unique passwords without having the fear of forgetting them

If you are stuck in some part of your login process and cannot seem to retrieve your instructions through an email you might want to contact Airbnb’s customer support service because just like guests, hosts too, are customers of Airbnb.

While there is a vast number of resources in the Airbnb blog and in their help center there is no specific place that you can go to on the main website to contact them directly. The solution is to check if there is a direct contact number for Airbnb for your region. If not, email them at support@airbnb.com.

Additionally, you can check out some of the host reviews that have been posted by other users who have had difficulty logging in and get some ideas on how to resolve them.

Changing your Airbnb password

If you for security reasons want to change your password, here is how you go about it.

Step 1: Log in to your Airbnb account

Step 2: Click on the grey icon on the top left corner of the web page

Step 3: On the drop-down click on “Account”

Step 4: Click on “Login and Security”

Step 5: Select the “Update” button next to “Password”

Step 6: In the first field type your current password

Step 7: In the second and third field type the new password

Step 8: Click on “Update password”

And you are done!

Other ways to make sure your Airbnb account is secure

The first step to ensuring a secure account is to create a secure password. Once that is done there are a few other steps that can be taken for additional security.

If you are logging in to your Airbnb through a link via email or a different source, always check if the URL is correctly spelled. It should always be https://www.airbnb.com. Do not enter your login details even if there is a minor spelling error in the URL as it can direct you to a fake page where your login credentials can be stolen and your profile compromised.
Invest in a decent anti-virus software – most are affordable and worth every penny spent!
