Account setup support
Although the Hostaway software is easy to use, every company has different needs. During a setup session we help you setup the account and the sales channels on Hostaway and show you how to use the software for your business.
Once you’ve used the platform as your daily routine for a while, we will schedule a follow-up call to make sure you get the most out of it. We will teach you tips and tricks that help you stand out from the competition and get the most for your money!
Some sales channels are demanding a minimum of 5 listings before you can connect the channel manager software. This is the main reason why a minimum of 5 listings is advised. If you have less then 5 but are growing soon, have high quality listings, have many reservations or feel there are other benefits for you, we are happy to talk with you.
After the demo call you are able to signup and need to agree with our terms and services. You can cancel the service at any moment you like by notifying use by email. A final invoice will be made, we inform you how to disconnect all channels in a secure way and stop your account.
The easiest way is by entering your credit card details. The payments will be handled securely through Stripe.com. If you prefer to make a deposit by PayPal or bank transfer, contact us after the account is set up. During the demo call we tell you more about these options.
No, we think that it is unfair to charge a commission for a cancelled booking by the guest or by you. However we do expect a fair use of our software and abuse of this cancellation option might result in suspending or canceling your Hostaway account.
In order to prevent abuse, forgotten accounts and be able to deliver support to all users, Hostaway charges a minimum fee of $50 per month. This minimum charge is charged per account, regardless of the number of listings connected. For % based pricing there is a minimum of $2,- per listing per month.
Hostaway offers a setup fee plan for $250 – $1000+. Ask our sales specialists for your options. The Hostaway commission plan doesn’t replace any fees you pay to the booking channels, although many channels give you more favorable terms when you work with Hostaway. Also some of the 3th party software companies like Stripe, PayPal and others might charge you additional fees for the use of the software.
