Hostaway Referral Program Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Hostaway Affiliate Program (the “Program”). By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms, Hostaway’s Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
Introduction
The Program is made available to you by Hostaway, wholly subject to these Affiliate Terms, the Hostaway Terms of Service, and the Hostaway Privacy Policy.
In the event of any conflict between the Affiliate Terms and the Hostaway Terms of Service, the Affiliate Terms shall prevail solely in relation to the Program.
Definitions
For clarity, the following terms are defined as used in these Referral Terms:
Program: The Hostaway Affiliate Program governed by these Affiliate Terms.
Referrer: An individual or entity participating in the Program by referring new customers to Hostaway using a unique referral link.
Referred Customer or Referral: A new customer who signs up for Hostaway through the Affiliate’s Unique Affiliate Link, satisfies all eligibility criteria, and enters into a valid subscription agreement with Hostaway.
Existing or Returning Hostaway Customer: A person or entity who currently has, or previously had, an active Hostaway account or subscription.
Successful Referral: A referral where the Referred Customer (a) enters into an annual subscription agreement with Hostaway within 180 days from signing up, (b) pays all applicable onboarding or subscription fees in full, and (c) remains in good standing through the initial payment period, as determined by Hostaway.
Commission: The 20% Net Revenue share payable to Affiliates for the first year of a Referred Customer’s subscription.
Onboarding Discount: A 50% reduction in onboarding fees offered to the Referred Customer when they sign an annual contract with Hostaway.
Unique Referral Link: The personal link provided to each Referrer to track referrals and ensure eligibility for rewards.
Fraudulent Activity: Any attempt to manipulate, abuse, or falsify referrals, including self-referrals, fake accounts, tampering with tracking, or misrepresentation.
Referral Program Details
For the Referrer
Reward: $300 USD Tango gift card for each successful referral (all countries and languages). See Tango's Terms of Service for more information.
Eligibility: The referred person must become a new Hostaway customer and begin an annual billing subscription, and meet all conditions of a Successful Referral.
Reward Timing: The gift card is paid within 30 business days once the referred customer's billing subscription begins and payment is received by Hostaway. If the referred customer's billing subscription is not paid or is canceled before payment is received, Hostaway reserves the right to withhold or cancel the gift card reward.
Referral Tracking: The referred customer must use the unique referral link provided to the referrer for tracking and reward eligibility. Failure to use this link will result in disqualification. Merely signing up for the Program does not guarantee eligibility for rewards; all program conditions must be met.
For the Referred Customer
Must be new to Hostaway (not an existing or returning customer).
Must sign up via the Affiliate’s Unique Affiliate Link.
Eligibility and Exclusions
The Referred Customer must be a new Hostaway customer and enter into a valid subscription agreement with Hostaway.
Self-referrals (referring oneself) are strictly prohibited.
Existing or Returning Hostaway customers are not eligible as Referred Customers.
Hostaway employees are not eligible to participate as Referrers or Referred Customers.
Only one Commission per Referral will be issued.
The Program cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or promotions, nor applied retroactively.
Referrals must be made using the unique referral link — manual attribution or crediting is not permitted.
Reward Delivery
Gift cards will be delivered electronically to the referrer within 30 days of the referred customer's subscription activation and payment.
Hostaway will notify Referrers by email when a reward has been approved and is ready for delivery.
Hostaway reserves the right to modify, substitute, or withdraw rewards if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
Onboarding discounts for Referred Customers will be applied at the time of contract signing.
Non-transferability of Commissions
Rewards are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
Limitations on Liability
Hostaway is not responsible for any delays, loss, or issues with the delivery of rewards once issued.
Hostaway is not responsible for any taxes, fees or other costs associated with the receipt of rewards. All tax obligations are the sole responsibility of the recipient.
Referral Tracking and Verification
Referrals must be made using the Unique Referral Link provided by Hostaway.
Hostaway reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and the validity of any referral.
Hostaway may request additional documentation or proof to verify eligibility and compliance.
Fraud Prevention
Hostaway reserves the right to monitor all Program activity and withhold or deny Commissions in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, suspicious behavior, or any violation of these Terms. Hostaway’s determination shall be final and binding
Any attempt to manipulate or abuse the Program, including but not limited to self-referrals, creating fake accounts, or providing false information, will result in immediate disqualification from the Program and forfeiture of any unpaid Commissions.
Hostaway’s decision regarding fraud prevention and disqualification is final and binding.
Program Communications
Participants may receive automated or manual email communications related to program updates, referral status, reward eligibility, and account access details (such as portal login credentials).
By joining the Program, participants agree to receive both operational and marketing communications from Hostaway related to the Referral Program. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure their contact information is accurate and up to date to receive such communications.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Referral Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
Program Changes and Termination
Hostaway reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these Affiliate Terms at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice. In the event of termination, only approved Commissions earned prior to termination will be paid.
Any changes to the Program or these Affiliate Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the Hostaway website or other official communication channels.
Continued participation in the Program after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
General Terms
Hostaway reserves the right to disqualify any participant it deems to be in violation of these Referral Terms.
These Referral Terms represent the entire agreement between Hostaway and the participant concerning the Program and supersede any other promotional representations and communications.
The Program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
Any provisions of these Referral Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including but not limited to fraud prevention, limitation of liability, and governing law.
Privacy and Data Protection
Hostaway processes personal data of Affiliates in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which explains how such data is collected, used, and protected in connection with the Affiliate Program. By participating, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

Affiliates must comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, when handling any personal data related to the Program. Affiliates are solely responsible for ensuring their marketing and data practices comply with all legal requirements.
