Per Diem Pads is a lodging marketplace connecting U.S. military and government travelers on official orders with hosts offering furnished short-/mid-term stays. Nightly lodging follows the published locality rate. Travelers pay the daily rate plus tax and receive itemized itineraries and daily line-item zero-balance receipts after checkout.

Hosts import listings from Hostaway and keep calendars in two-way sync. Official stays often last weeks or even months. Payouts go through Stripe Connect, with an earnings dashboard and per-booking payout summaries. Shared Accommodations lets teammates book (by invite) the same property independently — separate reservation, payment, and receipt each — up to the bedroom count.

Payment starts at check-in with an authorization hold, continues on a recurring cycle, and finishes at checkout for nights actually stayed. Per diem tools support Temporary Duty (TDY) travel, Temporary Lodging Expenses (TLE) travel, and Permanent Change of Station (PCS) travel.
