Hostaway surveyed 700+ short-term rental operators about how they actually use AI day to day. About 1 in 5 operators are already using agents and automated workflows for things like answering guest questions, managing pricing changes and drafting reports without being asked each time. Everyone else sits somewhere between not using AI at all and using it as an occasional helper and thinking partner.
